Working out of our studio right in the heart of Brighton, our talented team is hard at work crafting the next generation of applications, portals and websites. Developers, designers, project managers and strategists can all be found on site, bouncing ideas around and enjoying the South Coast.
Our goal is to provide digital services with the emphasis on truly great customer service. We want to make sure our clients are happy during each step of their project - and our experience, coupled with the training and skills, makes this possible.

Easy one first: what is your name and job title?
Rob Dawson – senior developer
Okay, and what does that actually mean?
I’m in charge of coding and managing the back end team. I also do a lot of .net coding myself and get to talk to our great clients!
What is great about working with you, specifically, on a project? What does the client get out of it?
I have good technical knowledge. This understanding means I’m good at communicating problems to clients, meaning we get to solutions quickly and easily.
What client headaches do you help with?
Integrating systems is often far too technical and time consuming for clients to put real focus on. I can set things up to the point where all is ready and live, then make it easy enough for clients to go in and edit the websites themselves – giving real control back.
What’s great about working with Boxharry?
We have a great team! Genuinely nice and approachable people who are a pleasure to work with.
What should clients see as a major priority right now?
Keep on top of updates! Umbraco have a few right now, making great system improvements – so stay up to date and make sure you’re getting the best out of it.
What makes you different from anyone else in the room?
I have a pet shrimp!
Finally, what chocolate would you be?
Bounty. It’s the controversial option.

Okay, and what does that actually mean?
I’m a code monkey! Lots of coding, calculations and headaches.
What is great about working with you, specifically, on a project? What does the client get out of it?
I’m fun, make people laugh and I’m light hearted. Why should things be stressful? Lets figure stuff out together.
What client headaches do you help with?
When customers come up with a vague idea, we understand where they’re coming from, connect the dots and work out how to make that into something tangible.
What’s great about working with Boxharry?
We love to keep up with the latest tech and are always training in new things. Where other places might just stick with what they originally picked, we’re always on the lookout for the best new technologies.
What should clients see as a major priority right now?
Check your user experience on a mobile – that’s how everyone is accessing things right now.
What would you do if you couldn’t fail?
I’d be a professional footballer – a goalkeeper.
What makes you different from anyone else in the room?
I reckon I’d be the best football player.
Finally, what chocolate would you be?
Milky Way as I’m soft and squidgy!
Brandon Mallett
.NET Developer
Easy one first: what is your name and job title?
Brandon Mallet - .Net Back-end developer
Okay, and what does that actually mean?
I’m responsible for the core functionality behind websites, I’m the reason why it works to put it simply. Think of me as the oxygen helping to keep it alive!
What is great about working with you, specifically, on a project? What does the client get out of it?
I’m persistent, eager to learn, and good at problem solving and spotting problems before they arise. Personally, I’m a bit of a coding geek, good at making it all neat and tidy and easy to understand. I’m also nice – clients like talking to me!
What’s great about working with Boxharry?
You get to deal with real, actually quite nice, humans who are great at understanding you and what you need.
What should clients see as a major priority right now?
I think it’s important to make websites sustainable – easy to upgrade when systems inevitably expire. My top tip is to never look for quick solves, it’s important to consult real experts who can find you the very best solution in the long run.
What would you do if you couldn’t fail?
I’d be a footballer.
What makes you different from anyone else in the room?
I’d probably do the best job at making you laugh!
Finally, what chocolate would you be?
Bounty – because you either love me or hate me (they don’t do marmite chocolates, do they?)
